Endowment History – The Henry Wurst, Inc. Scholarship

Henry WurstHenry Wurst, Inc. was founded by Henry E. Wurst in Kansas City in 1937. The company provided short- and long-run printing and print-related services to businesses across the nation. Products manufactured by Henry Wurst, Inc. included catalogs, coupons, magazine and newspaper inserts, booklets, and brochures. In 2019, Henry Wurst, Inc. was acquired by Mittera.

Funds for this scholarship are provided to students seeking careers in graphic communications. Preference is given to qualified students residing in the Kansas City, or Raleigh, NC, areas. A student enrolled at Pittsburg State University, Central Missouri State University, or Appalachian State University would also be a preferred recipient.
